Round corner hardcovers manufacturing

It is one of the trends on the market to enhance the safety and bauty of usage of books. JAVRO COVER offers a wide variety of hardcover with round corners. We produce standard hardcovers, half- flexi covers and full flexi covers. We use natural leather, PU materials, bookbinding cloth and paper bound. We also offer the possibility to combine different materials in any format.

Blind hot stamping
__

We use brass matrix to press shape
on cover. This type of
branding allows to achieve also
3D effect.
Materials made of thermo-burnishing
materials, the debossing has a darker shade.

Gold foiling/hot stamping
__

Gold foiling (known as hot-stamping) – we use the full range of foil colors: gold, silver, other metallized shades, holographic as well as pigmented ones.

Personalization
__

At the client's request, we emboss inscriptions by hot stamping (blindly or with foil). The technique is usually applied for stamping first name, last name, serial numbers, etc. The standard is: 14 points, Arial Bold. We have sets of fonts in: Polish, Enghlish and German , which contain upper and lower case letters and numbers. Text base should be provided by the customer in an Excel file.

Installation of elastics and pen loops
__

We install rubber bands and pen loops for covers, which most often happens on notebooks. The color range of rubber bands consists seven basic hues, but it is possible fot the customer to provide his elastic on a roll 7 or 10 mm wide.

Headbanding and ribbon insertion
__

Each book in hardcover should have a headband, but important publications should also have a ribbon.

Casing-in of books
__

We handle covers, including "flexi" and "integrated" ones and covers with elastic bands. Additionally, it is possible to stick headbands and ribbons to a ready (specified) block.

Hardcover for thin books and catalogs
__

We produce hard covers for thin books and catalogs (under 5 mm). It is especially useful as a solution for children's books, where the blocks can be central sewn, mingled sheet into sheet, with its own end paper (in the sheet).

Central sewing
__

Central sewing is a rare way to combine pages into a block with the thread sewn over the back. For sewing we use different thread colors and stitch length. Thanks to these treatments the publication stands out and becomes more attractive. Optionally, we sew the block through its entire thickness, it is the so-called sewing on a stitch.

Drilling in paper
__

Drilling holes in paper and cardboard is an everyday reality in our production. We drill holes with Teflon drills with high durability. Catalog cards, inserts for binders, tags, pendants.

Rigid-box production
__

We produce rigid boxes. We make board grooving, magnet pasting, inner sheet pasting. We also provide full-service production, with hot-stamping, blind embossing, foiling and UV varnishing.

Book corner rounding
__

We give customers the option to round the corners of the blocks. This process prevents premature deterioration of corners, thanks to which books, notebooks and catalogs longer looks like new. Service is performed on a machine with pneumatic clamp.
